Op dinsdag 2 november brengen wij u de praktijk van het zaken met India naar u toe. Een Indiër is geen makkelijk te veroveren zakenpartner. Zakendoen in India is leuk! India biedt enorm veel kansen voor vele sectoren. Echter, zakendoen in India is op vele vlakken anders. Zo zijn er verschillen in communicatie- en evaluatiestijlen. Maar ook leiderschapsverschillen tezamen met besluitvormingsverschillen. En dan hebben we nog niet gesproken over vertrouwensverschillen en verschillen in ervaring van tijd.
Er heerst in India een echte een zakencultuur waarbij spiritualiteit gecombineerd wordt met hedendaagse intelligentie. Het land zelf is zo enorm groot dat je onmogelijk heel India kunt bedienen. Wil je iets bereiken, dan heb je een betrouwbare lokale partner nodig. Wij helpen je graag op weg door onderstaand seminar aan te bieden.

Uiteraard ontbreek gelegenheid tot netwerken met aanwezige collega-ondernemers niet.

Over India
India, een land als een continent met 1,3 miljard inwoners.
Het grootste land ter wereld, met 415 talen, waarvan 25 officieel. Hindi is de grootste taal, gevolgd door het Engels.
India is een land met een ongelooflijke potentie en met even zoveel valkuilen. Veel Indiërs zijn hoog opgeleid maar de armoede is groot. De levensstandaard ligt gemiddeld laag en de inkomens zijn navenant. Deze combinatie maakt het een interessante partner om zaken mee te doen. Er is veel te ontwikkelen.
Zaken doen in India is vooral veel tijd investeren. En zoveel tijd hebben we niet als we onderweg zijn.
Tijdens het seminar Handel met India gaan vertellen we over onze zakelijke belevenissen in India. Hoe je omgaat met de totale cultuurshock die je krijgt als je het land binnenkomt en hoe het land je onder je huid gaat zitten. Het is zo verschrikkelijk anders dan alle andere landen en dat maakt het land uitermate boeiend. Het is geen makkelijk land maar de kansen zijn enorm.
Via een beeldverbinding komen we in contact met mijn Shilpan Patel. Hij woont en werkt vanuit Mumbai maar heeft een breed netwerk van zakenpartners in diverse industriële gebieden in India die kunnen helpen met het opzetten van import en export naar dit boeiende land.

Maarten Wolsing - Salescoach, ondernemer en exportmanager voor een verpakkingsproducent
Maarten heeft meer dan 30 jaar sales ervaring in de wereldwijde B2B en vindt het tijd zijn kennis te delen met collega ondernemers. Hoe zet je een succesvolle handelsbetrekking op met India? Het is hem gelukt. In vijf jaar heeft hij, met behulp van zijn Indiase handelspartner de export opgebouwd naar India voor een Nederlands bedrijf in verpakkingsmaterialen. Hij heeft gezocht naar mogelijkheden en die zo goed mogelijk uitgenut. Laten we deze middag van elkaar leren, met elkaar praten en de business starten.
Shilpan Patel - founder of Universal Pactec and a Director at Pyloff Packaging
Mr. Shilpan Patel is the founder of Universal Pactec and a Director at Pyloff Packaging Pvt. Ltd. The primary objective of the latter is to promote in India the adoption of world class manufacturing standards via automation in processing and packaging equipment, especially for the food and pharmaceuticals industries.
Mr. Patel is an alumnus of the University of Mumbai with specialisation in management and finance. Before taking the route of entrepreneurship, Mr. Patel worked in the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team of the investment banking arm of J.P. Morgan in Mumbai, London and New York over a span of 7 years.
Hailing from an entrepreneurial family, Mr. Patel decided to take the plunge into entrepreneurship initially by adding more product lines in the existing family-owned business (Pyloff Packaging Pvt. Ltd.). Recently, with the founding of Universal Pactec, the objective is to forge strategic co-operations with entrepreneurs and emerging companies (especially from Europe) that are looking for a reliable representative and a route into the Indian market. Specific to The Netherlands, Mr. Patel has been successfully representing the company Trioworld Apeldoorn B.V. (formerly Apeldoorn Flexible Packaging B.V.) for the last few years.
Mr. Patel is also an avid golfer, football enthusiast and loves playing squash in his free time.
Jelke Schippers - CEO of Smartshore
Jelke Schippers is the CEO of Smartshore, an international software development company with offices in The Netherlands and India. This global team delivers high-quality custom-made software applications for European clients. Having founded both the Dutch and Indian companies, he has a wealth of experience as an IT entrepreneur growing successful international teams. Next to his position as CEO of Smartshore, he is also a board member at the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce and Trade (NICCT).
Jelke Schippers got his BSc degree in Industrial Design at Eindhoven Technical University and earned an MSc degree in Management at Nyenrode Business University. Before founding Smartshore, Jelke successfully built two other businesses in product design and internet services.
Edith Nordmann – Chairman NICCT & Managing Partner ACG International
Edith Nordmann is next to being the Chairman of NICCT also Managing Partner at ACG International in Amsterdam.
Edith has an expert qualification in employment law, and is experienced corporate and commercial litigator, who has been representing both companies and private individuals in highly complex matters. Her practice also covers cross-border transactions, contract disputes, and national and international litigation. In addition, she is a certified mediator, who assists her clients in finding amicable resolution of their disputes.
Being fluent in German (native speaker), English, Dutch, French and Italian, Edith is not only able to communicate with many of her international clients in their mother tongue, but also to understand the difference in mentality, culture and legal systems. This puts her in a unique position to resolve cross-border issues.
Edith successfully combines her professional career with numerous charitable and social organizations, where she uses her expertise, not only to help others but also to empower them in their endeavors. Among many other commitments, she is also Vice Chairman Supervisory Board of Housing Corporation Rochdale.
