OPPORTUNITIES IN CHINA’S LSH-SECTOR – GUANGDONG REGION

Are you active in the Life Sciences and Health (LSH) sector and interested in the Chinese healthcare sector? Or do you want to enter the Chinese market but don't know where to start? Then join the seminar on the LSH-opportunities in one of the country's most promising provinces: Guangdong on October 13!

Guangdong is a coastal province in southeastern China, bordering Hong Kong and Macau. Since 2011, the region has had the highest GDP of all provinces in mainland China. It even reached €1.74 trillion in 2021. To give you an idea, Guangdong's GDP in 2021 was higher than Italy, Canada or South Korea!

Opportunities for Dutch companies

Due to the growing prosperity, there is an increasing demand for higher quality healthcare. In Guangdong, there is a lot of attention for developments in the field of bio-pharmaceuticals and medical devices. According to the Guangdong Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the turnover of the biopharmaceutical and health industry was more than €65.5 billion until 2019.

The ecosystem in the region is also well developed. There are several bioparks, national-level clinical research centers, provincial-level labs, research institutions and innovative technology investors. Therefore, for high-quality and innovative LSH technology and product providers, Guangdong can be a good first step to enter the Chinese market.

This region offers countless opportunities for Dutch products, services and technologies in the healthcare sector. Join this seminar to learn more about the opportunities in Guangdong for your business!
